By installing or using BestClient you accept what is written here. If you do not, uninstall it - that is the whole of it.

What BestClient is

BestClient is a free launcher and client for Minecraft: Java Edition, built for the bestpvp.eu server. It installs Minecraft, the Fabric mod loader and a matching Java runtime for you, adds a movable in-game overlay and a friends list, and can install mods from Modrinth on your behalf.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. You need your own valid Minecraft: Java Edition account to use it, and your use of the game itself stays subject to Mojang's EULA.

Your account

You sign in with your own Microsoft account, through Microsoft's own login. Do not use an account you do not own, and do not share your launcher installation with someone else in order to get around a ban. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Fair use

BestClient exists to make a fair game more comfortable to play, not to give an advantage. You agree not to:

use it together with cheats, hacked clients, injectors or anything that automates play;
modify the client in order to defeat the mod check or to disguise what is installed;
use it to attack, disrupt or overload bestpvp.eu, our servers, Modrinth, GitHub, or anyone else;
abuse other players through the friends system.

The launcher checks your mods folder on every launch and tells you what it cannot recognise. That check is a help to you, not a guarantee to anyone: the server's own rules and anti-cheat decide what is allowed on bestpvp.eu, and passing the launcher's check does not protect you from a ban.

Mods and other people's work

Mods, resource packs and shaders installed through the launcher are made by other people and come from Modrinth, downloaded directly from there so their authors receive the download. They are covered by their own licences, and we neither own them nor answer for them. The launcher only ships the small in-game part that is BestClient's own.

Availability

BestClient is free and offered as it is. There is no promise that it will work without interruption, that the friends service will be reachable, or that a given Minecraft version will keep being supported. Features can change or be removed between versions.

Updates

The launcher checks for a new version on start and periodically after that, and verifies each download against a published checksum before installing it. Keeping it up to date is how you get fixes; an old version may stop working when the server or Minecraft moves on.

What we are not liable for

To the extent the law allows, BestClient is provided without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for lost game data, lost progress, a banned account, or any other damage arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or intentional harm.

Stopping

You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We can withdraw access to the friends service from an account that breaks these terms. Your Minecraft account and your game are unaffected by that - it is only our service.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by Hungarian law, and by the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in, which this does not take away from you.
